NZUSI Online Academics 2021

The NZUSI conducted the first online CME – “ Uro Golden Eye ” on 18 April 2021. The conveners were Dr Kamaljeet Singh and Dr Anish Gupta. The theme was “How Urologists can plan and manage their finances in Covid 19 pandemic?” The program included renowned national faculties and was very well attended on NZUSI Zoom / Facebook / YouTube portals and appreciated by urologists from North Zone, across India and many other countries. NZUSI Urology Post Graduates Online Teaching Session 1 - on 8 May 2021. The Moderators were Dr Prabhjot Singh and Dr Himanshu Pandey. Since this year also, the Urology postgraduates exit exams will be virtual, due to Covid 19 pandemic. Last year also, NZUSI conducted for the first time, in history of NZUSI, four such teaching programs. Two exam cases were discussed by renowned national faculties as teachers. The program was very well attended on NZUSI Zoom / Facebook / YouTube portals and appreciated by urologists from North Zone, across India and many other countries. Two exam cases were discussed by renowned national faculties as teachers.The program was very well attended on NZUSI Zoom / Facebook / YouTube portals and appreciated by urologists from North Zone, across India and many other countries. Annual conference of Royal Urology Society of Rajasthan's urologists was held on 9th May 2021 (Sunday) between 1200 Noon to 1800 hrs. More than 250 Urologists from Rajasthan and across the country had participated in this virtual event. Program started with welcome address by Dr KK Sharma, President RUS followed by the keynote addresses by our special guests Dr Mallikarjuna, President USI, Dr Ravindra Sabnis,

President Elect USI, Dr Sudhir Rawal, President NZUSI. In his address Dr KK Sharma had proposed that all state's urological societies should have affiliation with zonal bodies in the same line as the zonal bodies with the national society. He also highlighted that the annual zonal conferences should be on rotational basis among various states similar to USI.

Dr SS Yadav, Secretary RUS presented secretarial report. He appraised that first RUS conference was organized in the lake city Udaipur and it was indeed a great event. He also mentioned about various webinars conducted by RUS during one year viz. Neurogenic bladder by Dr Vasudevan, Imaging in urology, Webinar on Medicolegal cases with senior advocates of Supreme Court and High Courts, Cadaveric organs retrieval live workshop, etc.

In this virtual annual conference, sessions of Laser in urology, Paediatric urology, Renal cancer, Prostate cancer were held and Dr Uttam Mete, Dr MS Ansari, Dr Amlesh Seth, Dr Rajiv Yadav were the conveners of these sessions respectively. Dr Neeraj Agarwal and Dr Gautam Choudhary moderated the entire program.

Eminent faculties including Dr P Venugopal, Dr PN Dogra, Dr Rajeev Mathur, Dr SP Yadav, Dr AL Bhat, Dr Aneesh Srivastava, Dr TB Yuvaraja, Dr Anil Takvani, Dr Gyanendra Sharma, Dr Hemant Pathak, Dr Sanjai Addla, Dr MK Chhabra, Dr Anup Kumar, Dr Kandarp Parikh, Dr Ketan Vartak, Dr Tanuj Paul Bhatia, Dr Mallikarjuna Reddy, Dr Prabhjot Singh, Dr Rishi Nayyar, Dr B Nayak, etc. had given deliberations and shared their knowledge. Interaction between the faculties and the delegates was excellent.
